Another most moist day for wheelbarrow fairies..as the wheelbarrow would have got stuck in the mud today the fairy found the kitchen worksurface underneath all the fruit and veg! First she made roasted pepper and tomato sauce to be frozen, then chilli for tea and freezer (if Ds leaves any!) And finally Pear and almond pudding cake:) She even had time for a quick game of kitchen jenga with the washing up!
As there are only so many apples any fairy can either eat, freeze or dry, she gave a couple of carrier bags full to her friend!
And another thing...we're supposed to eat 5 a day right? So today - stewed apple with porridge at breakfast #1, lunch minestrone soup that is pure veg so thats #2 #3 #4, tea was chilli thats more beans and tomatoes than meat so theres #5 #6 and #7 with pear cake for desert #8. Can you have too much veg and fruit? I forgot orange juice in the AM! so thats #9! I'll ask my digestive system if thats too much later..gurgle..now this is what the fairy did....
